Mia

Rhea has been renamed Mia and  is settling in well now and after a worrying few days, the cats are slowly getting used to her..  She is great with the children if a bit enthusiastic at times but she will be a great family dog when she does settle completely. We have moved the guinea pigs out of the garage as she was obsessed with them and would spend hours just guinea pig gazing if we let her!

After a few more days she is now only mildly interested in the guinea pigs and isn't trying to get into them anymore.  Also our older cat Rosie is much braver and tougher than Roscoe and she now hisses and spits a bit when she is in the same area as Rhea but once she is up away from her they were both ok together this morning.  She wasn't jumping up and trying to get at her like she was before and soon ignored Rosie finding something more interesting to sniff!  I bought her a meat bone yesterday and she loves it and settles down really well in the living room in the evening and doesn't keep charging around.  She had a lovely play with Izzy in the garden yesterday and they both seem to have a similar temperament so I feel they'll be good friends.

Just a few more pictures so you can see what a happy girl she is !

Best wishes from Trish and Eleanor
